Sherpa Kids offers fully flexible before & after school care for all students of Holy Family Junior & Senior National School. You only pay for the hours that you need. Our before school care includes breakfast club and our after school has a homework club.

From September 2023, schoolbooks, workbooks and copybooks will be provided to every child by the school. All pencils, colours, copybooks etc will also be provided. There will be no charge for parents for these as the school will receive funding from the Government to cover these these costs.
There will, however, be a cost of €25 for each child to offset the costs not covered by Government funding. As ours is a Junior School, all books and workbooks need to be replaced each year (as the children write / colour in their books). While the Government funding covers the cost of the the vast majority of classroom materials, this additional money is needed to buy Arts and Crafts and other classroom materials. It also helps cover book loan costs. Each child has access to leveled readers which are supplied by the school on loan and returned afer use. Junior Infants begin using these books in the 2nd term. All other classes have access to these books throughout the school year.
The children, then, will need to bring just a schoolbag and pencil case on the first day of school (as well as lunch boxes / bottle etc). Their books and other materials will be given to them by the teacher.
The €25 can be paid through the Aladdin app or at the school office (cash / card) from 21.08.23.
